# Yonescat

> Yonescat is a London-based digital product studio founded in 2003. We design and build software, AI agents, and digital infrastructure for NHS trusts, learned societies, government bodies, charities, and enterprise teams. Designers and engineers work as one team — no handoffs, no account managers. Based at 56 Wood Lane, London W12 7SB.

## About

Yonescat was founded in 2003 by Heman Yones, a Kurdish-born British entrepreneur and Brunel University graduate. The studio has been operating continuously for over 22 years and has shipped more than 500 projects. It operates as a social enterprise and is transparent about pricing. The studio's work spans national digital identity systems, NHS patient platforms, learned society websites, charity apps, European Commission programmes, and enterprise software.

Notable projects include:
- iQiD: Iraq's national digital identity platform — biometric authentication, NFC chip reading, facial liveness detection, single sign-on across government and private platforms, live on iOS and Android
- Royal Astronomical Society website: appointed by Council resolution after competitive tender; the RAS was founded in 1820
- Circulation Foundation: NHS patient-facing website for vascular conditions, 60–80 thousand visits per month
- The Log Cabin app: mobile app for a Mayor of Ealing-founded charity serving 350+ children and young people with disabilities annually
- European Commission programmes: 10+ funded projects across 20+ countries (Daphne III, Lifelong Learning, Youth in Action)
- Robert White Photographic: e-commerce platform for one of the UK's leading photographic retailers, established 1982
